Candidate School, then accredited

How it works

A new school joins as a Candidate School and holds that status for its first two years. During those two years the evidence assembles itself. Training completed in Ask. Practice records. Attendance and observation records kept in Beacon. Nobody is compiling a folder, because the folder is a by product of running the school properly. When the school meets the published expectations, it becomes accredited by Empathy Global, on the track that matches its philosophy.

Why it works this way

Accreditation normally takes years, and most of those years are spent assembling evidence by hand. Someone asks for three years of records and the school spends months producing them. Here the records already exist, because the school was run on them.

What this is not

Accreditation by Empathy Global is our own mark. It is not a government licence and it does not replace one. Registering your school where you live is yours to do, and we will help you find the path.
