Who we are
The company
Empathy Global is a company registered in the United States, founded and run by Eric Gonzalez-Payne. It is not venture funded. It is paid for by the schools that license our curriculum, and it was built by one person.
You can read about him on the About page, and you can write to him at the address on the contact page. If you write, he is the one who answers.
Where our schools are
The curriculum this company grew out of has been taught in classrooms in Singapore, Poland and the United States, and daily since 2020 in our own school in Bali.
We are not going to name schools or show you logos. Schools that license a programme do not always want it advertised, and we would rather tell you nothing than tell you something we have not been given permission to say.
Who owns your information
Your school's records belong to your school. You can export them at any time, in full, without asking us and without paying for it. That is not a feature we are proud of, it is the minimum, and it is what stops us from holding you here by making it hard to leave.
What happens if we stop
Any company can fail, and a company that tells you otherwise is not being straight with you.
If Empathy Global ever stops operating, your records are yours and exportable, and the curricula you have downloaded stay downloaded and stay usable. We build it so that the worst version of our future is not also the worst version of yours.
What we are not
We are not a franchise. Your school is yours, your name is yours, and we have no claim on your business.
We do not take a share of your revenue. We charge a fee for each enrolled child and nothing else.
We do not decide what you teach, we do not set your fees, and we do not talk to your parents.
