ASK guide · 6 steps

Ask the right guide a focused question

Choose a guide and ask about the teaching or everyday moment in front of you.

Before you begin

Check the curriculum and your Teacher or Parent context. For another curriculum, use its available curriculum guide.

Step by step

  1. Check The Empathy Curriculum and your class or age context at the top of the screen.
  2. Open Guidance, then choose Sprout, Puff, Bao or Lumi using the plain-language guide descriptions.
  3. Type one question. Teacher example: “How can I introduce this week's feeling words without telling children what a card means?” Parent example: “How can I use feeling words naturally at bedtime?”
  4. Select Send. If you arrived from Prepare this week's lesson, read or edit the prefilled question before sending.
  5. Read the answer and any Source reference. Teachers should check the relevant curriculum document. Ask a short follow-up when helpful.
  6. Use Clear only if you want to remove this conversation, then confirm; otherwise return to Guidance to choose another guide.

Check the result

You have a practical suggestion to review and use in the right setting.

A useful check

Each guide keeps a separate conversation during the current app session. A Source reference appears when one is returned with the answer.

If the result is different, check the account and school first, then contact the team with the task and error wording.
